My Approach

I offer real, down-to-earth therapy for people moving through life’s harder seasons.

You won’t find stiff silence or clinical coldness here. What you will find is warmth, honesty, and a space where you don’t have to filter what you’re feeling.

My approach is relational, client-centered, and evidence-based. That means I show up as a real human first, a therapist second. Someone who’s  trained, but also fully present with you.

I draw from a variety of approaches depending on your needs, including:

EMDR for trauma, anxiety, and stuck points

Attachment and emotionally focused work for relationships and grief

Mindfulness and somatic strategies for nervous system regulation

Cognitive and insight-oriented therapies to help clarify patterns and move toward change

Talk Therapy

Talk therapy with me is real, relational, and rooted in evidence-based care.

We’ll have honest conversations that are sometimes deep, sometimes messy, sometimes light built on trust, curiosity, and connection. I bring in tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and EMDR, depending on your unique needs and goals.

Some days might be structured with skills or strategies. Other days, you may just need space to talk, feel, and be heard. That’s welcome here.

My role isn’t to fix you. My role is to sit beside you, offer insight and provide you the tools and support you need in order to reconnect with yourself in a deeper way.

EMDR

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess stuck experiences.

It’s especially effective for trauma, but also supports healing from:

• Anxiety and panic

• Medical and birth trauma

• Grief and loss

• PTSD and complex trauma

• Persistent negative beliefs

Overwhelming experiences can get “frozen” in the nervous system, looping through emotions or intrusive thoughts. EMDR helps move those memories into the past, reducing emotional reactivity and making space for relief.
